Debt Planner & Calculator 9.17.0

A straightforward, user-friendly debt calculator and monthly finance planner. This application helps organize and plan your debt, providing insights on the time needed to become debt-free along with basic monthly details. It supports up to six debts and four payoff strategies, with the option to turn on the debt snowball method for each. Recently, a feature allowing users to add bank accounts and manage account ledgers has been added. No personal information is required or connected to any accounts for security purposes. Users can manually input transactions for checking or savings accounts, keeping a track of available cash. The new Dashboard feature tracks total debt, total cash, and upcoming payment reminders. Additionally, the app allows for fixed or variable payments, monthly payment reminders in the device status bar, auto backup and restore functionality, and export of the monthly planner to a .csv file.

It's important to note that there is an optional in-app purchase available for removing ads, unlocking unlimited debt and bank accounts, and accessing custom monthly payments. This option supports continual app development without requiring users to switch to a different platform.

For user guidance, this app is intended for individuals with a basic understanding of their monthly payment obligations. Users have the flexibility to decide the initial payment amount for each card rather than sticking to minimum payments. The app adjusts payments accordingly over time, offering users control over managing their debts effectively.

The Debt Planner provides accurate calculations pertaining to various aspects of current debts, including payoff timeline, total interest fees, APR fees, balance transfer considerations, and promotional rates. It emphasizes user-provided accurate input for reliable results.

With regards to user privacy, the app stores debt records in a database file on the device's internal storage and backs up this data on a cloud/server. For Android 11+ users, "All File Access" permission is requested to maintain seamless functionality due to restrictions on file access in recent Android versions.
